Quality Assurance Manager

My client is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for their Manufacturing site in Moses Lake, Washington. 



Quality Assurance Manager


• The Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) functionally reports to the CM and is responsible for the auditing, reviewing and acceptance of all construction work to assure it meets engineering technical requirements in accordance with the engineered Standards, Specifications, industry standards/specifications and governing Uniform Building Codes.


• The QAM will require certified, discipline specific, field inspectors to facilitate construction demands as construction progresses.


• The QAM will be responsible for the review of the Contractors QA/QC program (ITP) to assure it complies with ITP requirements. A review will be scheduled with company QA group for final acceptance.


• The QAM will coordinate with the Construction Specialists/Coordinator and Contractor for timely inspection needs.


• The QAM will perform routine audits on the Contractors approved QA/QC program for compliance and accuracy.


• The QAM will perform a weekly audit of the Contractors welding logs to assure compliance with testing requirements and inspection failure make-up tests.


• The QAM is the final signature of acceptance for systems before turning over to the Completions Manager / Operations.


• The QAM will coordinate the readiness for testing of E&I phases of installation (HIPOT, Megger and Loop).


• The QAM will ensure all PMI requirements are met and recorded by the Contractor and Company Warehouse.


• Source inspection to verify delivery of materials to remote Contractor and Vendor locations.
