Job Title: Food Quality Assurance Specialist - Food Lab

Basic Purpose: Are you passionate about ensuring top-notch quality in food production? Join our team in Paterson, NJ as a Quality Assurance Specialist and play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing product quality through effective communication and meticulous compliance assessment.
About the Position: As a Food Quality Assurance Specialist, you will collaborate with plant personnel to evaluate and document processes, ensuring adherence to specifications. Upholding production compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and critical process points will be integral to your role. Additionally, you will follow Allergens, HACCP, Food Safety, and QA programs, maintaining comprehensive documentation related to SOP's, Policies, Lab Methods, GMP's, Ingredients, Packaging, HACCP, and Statistical Process Control. Conducting audits of manufacturing plants and environments to ensure compliance with Company, FDA, and State regulations will be a key responsibility. You will also assist in preparing for 3rd Party Audits under the guidance of the QA Manager and support the setup and assessment of the sanitation program.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Degree in food sciences or life science, SQF preferred.
Experience in food product development or quality control.
Strong communication, creative problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
