*This is a Direct Hire opportunity!* Job Summary:
The Quality Control (QC) Technician performs inspections and completes required documentation. The QC Technician completes in-process inspections, as well as First Piece and other inspections as assigned, and works to promote problem resolution.
Tasks and Responsibilities Writing CMM programs on Zeiss CMM using Calypso software. Work with engineering relating to fixture design. Writing part inspection plans. Measuring First Article Inspections and creating their reports. Perform QC inspections using hand gages, Zeiss CMM, profilometer, interferometer, measuring microscope. Charting. Controlling nonconforming product. Strong communication skills needed to promote problem resolution. Receiving inspections. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous inspection experience including optical measurements. Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) experience and proficiency with Zeiss Calypso software a big plus. Computer skills a must. A strong working knowledge of excel is required. MS Access experience a plus. Very good visual acuity a must.
