MM promotes sustainable development through innovative, recyclable packaging and paper products.We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Quality Engineer to join our Quality Team here at MM Packaging Greensboro!Your RoleAs a Quality Engineer you will be a leader within thequality team with respect to development of product specifications, data collection systems, line audit creation, developing answers to internal and external complaints, and creation of cross functional SOPs. Your responsibilities as a Quality Engineer include:Assuring adequate internal quality standards are in placeDetermining quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processesEstablishing statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error; determining levels of confidenceDeveloping experiments by applying full and fractional factorial techniques.Developing sampling plans by applying attribute, variable, AQL, and sequential sampling methodsMaintaining statistical process controls by applying charts for distributions and individual-medial/range for multi-stream processesAnalyzing data by completing hypothesis, normal distribution, and process capability analysis testsPreparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendationsDesigning and implementing quality assurance systems consistent with industry standards that increase quality levelsServing as primary trainer for all quality programs and initiatives.
