\n ResponsibilitiesInspection services include visual, physical, and dimensional (both in-process and final) of machined, electro-mechanical, and other parts, according to client's requirements and specifications. Inspection may consist of, but not be limited to, the following activities:Incoming inspection from external providers of products or services/processing (e.g., nickel plating).In-process and final inspection of critical features such as witness inspection.Compilation of final inspection sign-off sheet and report packages.Verification that inspection equipment used to take measurements is capable of detecting defects.Verification that inspection methodology is adequate per drawing intent.Audit and validate the execution to the inspection plan.Provide weekly reports of manufacturing sites ramp progress, equipment quality performance of the facility, delivery details by Data Center site.Conduct periodic quality audits of the supplier's factory, provide reports of results.Drive closure of findings identified as non-conformance.Ensuring supplier's quality control system document the findings.Provide customer witness for test scripts, including but not limited to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for all equipment. Validate equipment is acceptable with no issues and compliance to the Level 1 commissioning process (Red/Orange tags) before shipment to the Data Center.Be the on-site support representing the client Basic Requirements(*) Must be a US Citizen with multiple valid forms of identification (Driver License, Passport, Birth Certificate) Must be able to pass a drug and background check. High school diploma or equivalency certificate 4+ years' experience with inspection of electromechanical partsStrong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Skills and ExperienceExperience using calibrated inspection tools. Experience with quality assurance principles, methods, and processes. Intermediate level skill with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Intermediate level skill with Windows operating systems. Additional RequirementsMust be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and/or weekends as needed. Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. unassisted. Must be able to climb ladders, stoop, bend, crawl, and work in tight spaces.
