We are seeking candidates interested in a dynamic multi-specialty pathology practice serving both inpatient and outpatient clients in three states, NC, SC, and VA.Candidates must have excellent communication skills, and be able to interact well with clinicians, administrators, and laboratory staff. The successful candidate should be a strong team player and have the ability to work independently.Greensboro Pathology, LLC is a growing, multi-specialty, multi-state professional group of 14 pathologists, providing Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, and Dermatopathology to multiple hospitals, surgery centers, and outpatient facilities throughout NC, SC, and VA.In this role, you will:???Establishes strategic plans, systems, policies and procedures for maintaining high standards of quality performance, reliability and safety.• Develops, administers, and implements all quality control, quality assurance, and quality improvement activities of the laboratory.• Ensures standard operating procedures are established for the quality program and laboratory activities, and that the procedural manuals are written, updated, and approved in a timely manner.• Oversees all quality and regulatory activities of the laboratory operations, ensuring conformance with requirements of applicable regulatory authorities and accrediting organizations.• Defines administrative requirements, such as mandatory recordkeeping, data evaluation, and internal audits to monitor adherence to the standard operating procedures.• Specifies corrective actions, documentation, and the individuals responsible for administering corrective actions when problems are identified.• Assists the management team in the oversight and documentation of all laboratory training programs, competency assessments, and proficiency testing.• Collaborates with the management team to prepare incident reports and Root Cause Analysis in response to a sentinel event and implements corrective action plans for internal/external incidents and audits and monitors resulting actions.• Actively participates on committees such as safety, Pathologist's peer review, CAP, CLIA, NY State Department of Health, and risk management.• Performs periodic internal audits and ensures departments perform timely follow up of audit findings.• Acts a liaison with external parties on matters relating to the quality program, system, and inspections.• Manages regulatory inspection preparation actives, hosts regulatory and vendor audits and inspection follow-up activities.• Collects and summarizes performance data, identifies opportunities for improvement and presents finding to the General Manager and management team. Company: Sonic Anatomic PathologyWe'll give you:Appreciation for your workA feeling of satisfaction that you've helped peopleOpportunity to grow in your professionFree lab services for you and your dependentsWork-life balance, including Paid Time Off and Paid HolidaysCompetitive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insuranceHelp saving for retirement, with a 401(k) plus a company matchA sense of belonging – we're a community!We also want you to know:This role will have routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI).
