QUALIFICATIONS/ CERTIFICATIONS TWIC Card Have current or in process to obtain and maintain a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification. Have current or in process to obtain and maintain an API 653 certification. Have current or in process to obtain and maintain an ASNT Level II certification. Good Computer Skills and able to navigate the Microsoft Suite of Applications such as Excel, Word, MS Teams ROLE: Quality Manager Responsibility: Support Tanco's field, shop, and office employees in terms of QA/ QC management Expectations: Be self-sufficient with the ability to perform QA/ QC jobsite and shop audits with a minimal amount of supervision. Travel for audits, inspections, customer/ crew relations, bid walks, and as needed approximately 90% of the time. Visit job sites as requested to gather data required for design (seal data sheets, nozzle/vert. rollouts, weld spacing details, etc.). Inspect welding and conduct proper training of welders as needed. Review quality issues as they arise and assist with developing solutions to remedy. Maintain positive relationships with customer representatives. Assist Tanco's Technical and Quality Manager with maintaining welder continuity and developing a systematic method of tracing welder continuity to NDE on projects. Assist Tanco's Technical and Quality Manager with the development of welding packages for projects as needed. Visit prospective welding labs and welding schools to ensure that suitable services and testing are being provided. Assist with and provide suggestions on the development of new welding procedures to further enhance Tanco's productivity and quality. Assist Tanco's Technical and Quality Manager in the development of an in-house program to get all Tanco foreman certified to perform MT/ PT. Review drawing packages and compare to actual fabrication activities on jobsites and in the shop to ensure compliance. Review inspection test plans and compare to actual inspection activities on jobsites and in the shop to ensure compliance. Be an expert on API 650, API 653, ASME IX, ASME V, Tanco Standards and Customer Specifications and Standards. Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to and work in harmony with customers, suppliers, field/shop personnel, management, and the administrative staff. Responsibility: Support Tanco's field, shop, and office employees in terms of QA/ QC management. - Continued Expectations: Answer questions from the field Foreman concerning code issues (weld spacing, material types, etc.). Assist with developing and managing a lesson's learned database on fabrication, drawings, engineering, estimating, drafting, construction, etc. on how to do things better, faster, what to look out for, etc. in the future. Perform other duties as assigned by TANCO Management. Responsibility: Drive and communicate TANCO's Quality Performance Expectations: Promote quality as the top priority within TANCO's organization. Monitor QA/QC performance for all shop and field operations. Responsibility: Actively participate in TANCO's response to our Quality Incidents Expectations: Work with the Project Manager to determine the adequate response to each TANCO quality incident and support it (site visits, etc.). Responsibility: Be active in industry as a quality expert Expectations: Have current or in process to obtain and maintain a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification. Have current or in process to obtain and maintain a API 653 certification. Obtain training and education as necessary to remain current on best practices and regulations relative to QA/QC. Responsibility: Explore and Gain ASME Code Stamp for fabrication shop Expectations: Organize and ability to assist company in obtaining ASME R Stamp and other certs for Tanco's fabrication shop
