Quantitative Researcher New California

Tudor Investment Corporation seeks a Quantitative Researcher in Oakland, CA to perform data analysis, including creating and managing large datasets for modeling processes and implementing data analysis software to provide high-level summary insights on large datasets. Conduct research using statistical and machine learning models, including proposing modeling approaches for datasets, determining statistical metrics for evaluating model performance on datasets, establishing baseline model performance for datasets and producing statistical and machine learning modeling pipelines to train and test modeling approaches. Develop software and implement production-quality modeling. Summarize research methodology, present research results to stakeholders and develop and enhance standard reporting tools. Perform historical backtest and strategy optimization. May work remotely 2 days per week within normal commuting distance of Oakland, CA.
RequirementsPhD in Computer Science or a closely related quantitative field. Position requires academic coursework in machine learning, statistics, optimization and time series modeling. Coursework must include experience with real world datasets and implementing modern machine learning techniques in Python.
Wage range: $200,000 - $250,000 per year.
