Quantitative Trader

A Chicago based proprietary trading firm is looking to add a quantitative trader. The firm is well established and has a strong tech buildout as well as a collaborative environment that allows for growth and learning opportunities. They trade a variety of different asset classes (equities, rates, commodities, FX) across options and futures. Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior traders and quant researchers to enhance and create strategies Build and maintain quantitative modeling and analytical tools Enhance trading strategies and execution through post-trade analysis and predictive modeling Develop in depth knowledge of market microstructure, Qualifications: 1+ Years of experience in systematic trading - Market Making B.S. / M.S. / PhD in Math, CS, Statistics, CS, or Physics from a top 50 university Ability to work with others in a high paced and collaborative environment Advanced understanding of finance, math, and statistics Experience using ECN/ATS's Proficiency in Python or C++
