Job Description
Provide customer service within the function of writing and cashing Race and Sports
tickets.
Inform guests of rules of the sports book.
Accept and understand various types of sports wagers acknowledging limits on all propositions.
Retrieve, verify and maintain accuracy of bank.
Utilize race and sports computer system to generate tickets and cash winning tickets.
Prepare daily line sheets and schedules; post opening and closing lines in setup book.
Maintain accurate record of tickets sold on chart sheet and customer file.
Maintain and complete tax and gaming regulation records and forms.
Possess knowledge of satellite and cable television channels.
Call Main Cage for time clock verification every morning. Log on time/date stamp sheet and exception log.
Fill out W-2G tax forms as needed.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age.
Experience in Sports Operations preferred.
Ability to operate CMS and New Wave computer software systems.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate in English.
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
