We are seeking a Mid-Level Real Estate Associate to join our real-estate practice in our Pittsburgh, PA office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law, with a focus on commercial real estate transactions. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of complex real estate matters and to collaborate with a team of talented attorneys. Key Responsibilities Advise clients on all aspects of real estate law including acquisition, development, leasing, financing, and disposition Conduct legal research and draft legal documents related to real estate transactions Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, and other legal proceedings Review and analyze real estate contracts and agreements Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in real estate transactions Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in laws and regulations Assist with the management of junior attorneys and legal staff as needed Qualifications Juris Doctor degree Active license to practice in PA 3+ years of experience in real estate law, preferably with a focus on commercial real estate Strong knowledge of real estate laws and regulations Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to handle a high volume of complex real estate matters independently and with the team Experience with loan closings and real estate financing is preferred Experience with historic tax credits and other tax credit structures We are looking for a team player with a strong work ethic and a passion for real estate law.
