We are seeking a skilled Rebar Estimator/Detailer to join our team and contribute to the accurate estimation and detailing of rebar for various construction projects.
Job Summary: As a Rebar Estimator/Detailer, you will play a crucial role in analyzing project specifications, preparing precise estimates for rebar quantities, and creating detailed shop drawings for fabrication and installation. The successful candidate will collaborate with project teams, ensuring the seamless integration of reinforced steel structures into diverse construction projects.
Responsibilities:
Review project specifications, architectural drawings, and engineering plans to understand the rebar requirements for construction projects. Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs for rebar materials based on project specifications. Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates, considering material costs, fabrication, and installation expenses. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather necessary information for the estimation and detailing process. Utilize rebar detailing software to create comprehensive shop drawings that adhere to industry standards and project specifications. Ensure that rebar detailing meets relevant codes, regulations, and project requirements. Communicate effectively with fabrication and installation teams to address any questions or concerns related to rebar detailing. Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Rebar Estimator/Detailer in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of rebar detailing software and tools. Familiarity with construction plans, specifications, and relevant codes. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
