Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiver to join our warehouse operations team in Kenner, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of incoming shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining efficient inventory control.

Receive and unload incoming deliveries, verifying quantity and quality against purchase orders
Process and document all incoming shipments using computerized inventory systems
Inspect received materials for damage or discrepancies and report any issues
Compare invoices and delivery documents to purchase orders for accuracy
Transport and store materials in appropriate locations following warehouse organization protocols
Maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory management system
Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
Assist in periodic inventory counts and reconciliation
Coordinate with vendors and internal departments regarding deliveries and discrepancies
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area
Process and track non-PO packages and freight
Complete all required documentation and maintain accurate records
Support warehouse team members with stock organization and rotation as needed

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse receiving operations
Proficiency in basic computer applications and inventory management systems
Strong mathematical and analytical skills for accurate counting and reconciliation
Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds without accommodation
Capability to work in various environmental conditions (indoor/outdoor, temperature-controlled areas)
Experience operating warehouse equipment including forklifts and electric pallet jacks
Valid driver's license
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated experience in following safety protocols and procedures
Strong time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks effectively
