JOB SUMMARY:
Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel of visitor arrival; answers incoming calls and routes them to appropriate personnel/department, retrieve voicemail messages and forwards to appropriate department/personnel and maintains telecommunications system. Receives, sorts, and routes mail; maintains and routes deliveries.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
Answer phones and transfer calls accordingly. Do not transfer calls directly, put call on hold and call employee for direction.
Sort and distributes mail on a daily basis. Open all mail and time stamp
Signs for deliveries and directs packages to appropriate department
Outgoing mail: Weigh and stamp all mail, responsible for mailing all mail in an outside mailbox.
Envelopes: stock and give envelopes to departments as requested
Prepare UPS & Fedx for pickups
Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education:
Required: High School Diploma/GED
Preferred:

Required: 1 year related experience
Preferred: Customer Service

Preferred: Knowledge of operating office equipment – copier/fax/scanner/projector
