POSITION: Receptionist/Staffing Coordinator

Summary
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Receptionist for ASM Global/Mercedes-Benz Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square.
This position works the reception areas in Gate F and Human Resources. The primary responsibility is data entry and maintenance and approval of licensure, assisting of visitors to Human Resources with queries and concerns, providing employee information and directing them to the correct internal or external entities. Maintain office forms, clerical responsibilities, and stock supplies as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen, and forward telephone calls
Answer routine telephone inquiries, event-specific or general inquiries
Greets and welcomes guests and directs them to specific locations
Handles faxes and deliveries
Provides typing and clerical support as needed
Contact staff to maintain clean, fully stocked meeting rooms
Prevent security issues by ensuring every guest that enters the building has proper credentials
Restock promotional items in the main lobby, as needed
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Must successfully pass a criminal background check
Must be at least 18 years of age
Outstanding verbal communication and customer service skills required
Typing skills preferred
Knowledge of computers, word processing, and switchboard needed
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1-year prior receptionist experience required
