What it's like to be a Recovery and Collection Supervisor at Recovery and Collection Supervisor As the Full-Time Recovery and Collection Supervisor at Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely collection of CSB receivables. Your expertise in resolving billing discrepancies and proactive follow-up on outstanding accounts receivable will be key to maintaining a healthy financial operation. In addition, you will have the opportunity to analyze data and propose accounts for write-off when necessary, demonstrating your strategic decision-making skills.
By addressing collection issues and identifying trends in non-collection of receivables you will contribute to the financial health of our organization. Would you be a great Recovery and Collection Supervisor? To excel as the Full-Time Recovery and Collection Supervisor at Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of two years of experience in medical billing and collections, or alternatively, five years of relevant experience. Proficiency in relevant software and tools is essential for effective management of receivables and reporting duties. Additionally, previous supervisory experience is preferred to effectively lead and mentor a team of collection professionals. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to problem-solve efficiently are crucial for success in this role.
Exceptional communication skills and a customer-centric approach will enable you to navigate billing issues and collections processes effectively.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
Bachelor's degree in related field and two years medical billing and collections experience; or, Five years of relevant medical billing and collections experience.
