CHS operates 69 acute-care hospitals and more than 1,000 other sites of care, including physician practices, urgent care centers, freestanding emergency departments, occupational medicine clinics, imaging centers, cancer centers and ambulatory surgery centers.
Job duties:
* Build appropriate strategies and successfully execute sourcing of external candidates for hospital leadership positions and executive development program opportunities.
To be successful this person needs to be experienced at networking and recruiting passive candidates.
* Market opportunities on various media outlets including LinkedIn, Indeed, CHS career site and others.
New ideas about marketing opportunities would be welcomed.
* Leverage Phenom CRM to accurately track candidate/applicant data and develop candidate pipelines for common roles.
* Conduct in-depth candidate interviews via phone, video and in-person.
* Along with TA VP or Director, participate in strategy meetings with Regional Executive Leadership to identify expectations, clarify processes and provide regular updates.
* Conduct extensive research via industry contacts to verify a candidate's past effectiveness and reputation.
* Appropriately advise hiring managers on selection decision based on interview feedback, assessment results and references.
* Prepare salary recommendations and present to senior leadership for approval.
Extend and negotiate complex executive compensation packages with chosen candidate.
* Successfully negotiate job offers with selected candidates.
* Communicate rejection news with those not selected with a customer servicer approach that fosters a long term relationship for consideration with future opportunities.
* Attend / coordinate graduate school conferences and job fairs.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in a related field of Business or Health Care Administration, HR or I/O Psychology preferred.
* Master's degree in related field preferred.
* At least 4 years of search firm, corporate recruiting, sales or HR experience required.
* Healthcare recruiting experience preferred.
* Experience with an ATS system and preferably a CRM system.
* Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Products preferred (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Knowledge of Human Resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel: executives, management, and staff.
