Recruiting Coordinator Position Description:
The Recruiting Coordinator will provide support to the recruitment function at IDG by posting
job openings, identifying, and screening qualified candidates, scheduling interviews with hiring
managers, and collecting references.
The Recruiting Coordinator will also focus on talent
sourcing, candidate identification, networking and relationship building with potential
candidates, and attending job fairs and networking events.
The Recruitment Coordinator will
report to the Senior Recruiting Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities: Assists with the selection process for both project based and home office-based positions, including assisting with requisition management and sourcing for qualified candidates.
Assists with the facilitation of high-quality global recruitment, interviewing, and selection by scheduling interviews and performing other administrative tasks as needed.
Reviews applications and assesses candidate qualifications against criteria established in the job descriptions or Scope of Work requirements.
Provides daily/weekly reports to hiring managers on a timely basis regarding status relating to all positions; including outreach and response for each position as needed.
Promotes the company's recruitment brand through active participation in job fairs, conferences, and other networking and marketing events.
Assists in the management of the Applicant Tracking System Assists the proposal team to identify viable candidates and gain the personnel documents.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor Degree and 1 year of experience including progressive work experience in the areas of talent acquisition/recruitment in the international development industry preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed, results-oriented environment at a fast pace; Ability to prioritize tasks, organize large volume of work, perform independently; Proven organizational skills, with the ability to undertake multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Outstanding communication, presentation, and diplomacy skills.
Experience with online networking tools, such as LinkedIn and experience conducting searches on recruitment databases and ability to identify and access new professional networks required.
Ability to learn compliance requirements and best practices for recruitment and hiring; Ability to research and learn employment law for various countries within the regions supported by this position.
Strong communication skills (written and spoken) required.
Fluent English language skills are required; fluency in a second language strongly preferred (helpful languages French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic).
Ability to problem solve and work effectively in a very fast paced environment with multiple competing priorities in a global business culture.
Ability to work with an applicant tracking system.
Knowledge of recruitment for USAID and other donor-funded projects preferred.
