WS Management is a California based hotel management company dedicated to growing our portfolio with a team of best-in-class professionals who are passionate about service, people and performance. We are seeking a Regional Director of Operations to oversee our select service hotels in California.
Position Overview: The Regional Director of Operations is responsible for ensuring that each property meets or exceeds performance and financial goals, is properly staffed and delivers exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in hotel operations, strong leadership skills and a proven track record of driving operational success. With an 80% travel requirement, you'll lead by example, conducting surprise QA inspections biannually and ensuring SOPs are diligently followed. Your knack for expense and revenue management will be put to the test as you maximize profitability at each location.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor and develop hotel management teams . Ensure compliance with all company policies, brand standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular site visits to assess property performance and identify areas for improvement. Monitor and analyze financial performance, including revenue management, cost control and profitability. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and guest satisfaction. Monitor, advise and assist General Managers with HR opportunities Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities, identify threats and opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, or Business Administration is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hotel operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel frequently within the region. Proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving financial targets. Experience with select service hotel brands and knowledge of industry standards.
