In our unit:We have a 34 bed ICU and 10 bed CVICU.With our recent expansion we are adding new specialization (CNRN or SCRN) opportunities for neuro patient population.We have a very tenured staff and promote career growth whether that be mastering your skills or moving toward CRNA or nurse leadership.We are a trauma II facility but see all levels of patients.Apply now to come interview and shadow with our amazing team!In this role:You will prioritize nursing care for assigned critically ill patients based on assessment data and identifies needs for intervention.You will demonstrate appropriate decision making, critical thinking and clinical judgment to make nursing decision and identify health care needs.You will evaluate and document each patient's response to medications, interventions, and procedures.You will assist in the formulation, coordination, and implementation of the patient's Plan of Care based on the assessment of their individual needs.You will monitor basic EKG, recognize rhythms and the ability to intervene as needed.You will assist the physician with procedures such as intubation, line placement and chest tubesYou will ensure ventilator, monitors and other equipment are functioning properly.
