Our team of VAN nurses provide adult PICC and midline placements and ultrasound guided peripheral IVs (USGPIVs) services throughout the hospital, serving both inpatient and outpatient areas. VAN nurses also provide support to the hemodialysis team by accessing and de-accessing HD catheters, and fistulas as well as de-clotting of HD catheters. The nurses will complete all central line dressing changes on inpatient medical floors.
