Assisted Hospice Care is looking for a Compassionate Triage/On-call RN to deliver holistic, end-of-life care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interact with patients, caregivers, and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing practice.

Part time position- 5-8 days per month- can eventually grow into additional days.
Monday-Friday: 6pm to 8am- $100 per day.
Saturday & Sunday: 8am to 8am- $300 per day.
Sometimes weekend days are split into 2 12 hour shifts, 8am to 8pm & 8pm to 8am- $150 per day.
Triaging for roughly 165 patients.

What you will do:Telephone Triage from comfort of your home. Exercise good nursing judgment in responding to patient/caregiver questions.Advise on how to address patient symptoms and/or other concerns.Provide re-education; assess the patient's condition; and identify a course of action to ensure patient quality of care.Communicate with care team members as appropriate. Who you are:Current, active RN License.Current CPR, health clearance and clinical skills self-assessment.Hospice experience required.Minimum of one year of professional nursing experience within the last 3 years.Clinically sound/confident in skills and understanding of disease trajectory- Recent acute care experience is preferred.Has compassion and an approachable personality but also strong enough to be confident and give directions to family.
