We are currently seeking qualified individuals to join our Green Bay Broadway facility as our next Reliability Coach in our Converting Department (Tissue and Napkin). This key leadership role is responsible for the performance and development of individual team members to deliver on facility/ department metrics. A successful Reliability Coach candidate will advance our culture by ensuring that the organization is aligned and capable. This is an integral part of our bet to meet the challenge of improving at a faster rate than our competition. This position would work a 12-hour swing (alternating days and nights) shift on a 2-2-3 schedule.
The Green Bay Broadway Mill manufacturers and distributes leading commercial and retail brands of paper products (bath tissue, napkins, and towels). The mill has about 1,725 mill employees and about 600 business support employees that provide engineering, transportation, data processing and customer services. Every day, GP employees and products help maintain a strong, stable economy in Northeastern Wisconsin. External applications to this position are eligible for a sign-on bonus equal to 15% of your gross income over your first 90 days of employment . What You Will Do
As a vital member of our team, you will work closely with leaders in Safety, Environmental, Maintenance, Operations, and Quality to enhance our team's capabilities and potential. Your role will involve embracing and effectively managing change to stimulate innovation and streamline processes. Additionally, you'll take the lead in cultivating a culture of ownership and continuous improvement within the organization.
One of your key responsibilities will be improving the long-term reliability of our product system. This entails identifying top priorities and continually enhancing the reliability skills of our personnel, refining our processes, and optimizing our equipment. You'll also play a crucial role in closing performance gaps by developing and executing predictive and preventative maintenance strategies, utilizing your critical thinking abilities, established processes, and collaboration skills to troubleshoot equipment and machinery effectively.
Working in close collaboration with Technicians, Manufacturing Engineers, Precision Technicians, and external experts, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our processes. Additionally, you will assist Technicians in developing and following through with action registers, providing valuable feedback to the Team Coach, and championing Operator Basic Care through the sharing of Playbook concepts.
In this role, your ability to prioritize tasks to achieve long-term value while remaining adaptable in response to changing conditions will be highly valued. Your contributions will be pivotal in driving our team's success and fostering a culture of excellence, with training and mentoring at its core. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Two (2) or more years of leadership experience in a manufacturing, industrial, construction or military environment. A minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Experience with Microsoft Suites and Outlook. Experience with PC-based production reporting systems applications. What Will Put You Ahead Five (5) or more years of leadership experience in the paper converting industry. Experience with Asset Strategy Development or formal Root Cause Analysis. Experience and knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
