Guardian Life Ins. Co. of America is seeking a motivated and independent Remote Customer Service Officer to join our dynamic team. **Key Responsibilities:**
- **Customer Interaction:** Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring all interactions are recorded accurately.
- **Issue Resolution:** Identify and resolve customer issues promptly, utilizing problem-solving skills and company resources effectively to provide satisfactory solutions.
- **Product Knowledge:** Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's products, services, policies, and procedures to effectively assist customers and enhance their experience.
- **Data Management:** Accurately input and update customer information in the database and manage customer records with attention to detail.
- **Feedback Collection:** Gather and document customer feedback to assist in service improvement and product development.
- **Team Collaboration:** Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and to enhance overall company performance.
- **Training Participation:** Engage in training sessions to expand knowledge of products and customer service techniques, and implement learned strategies in daily tasks.
- **Performance Metrics:** Meet and exceed established performance metrics including response time, customer satisfaction scores, and resolution rates.

**Requirements:**

*Education and Experience:*
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant coursework in communication, business, or customer service preferred.
- No previous experience is necessary; however, internships or volunteer work in a customer service role is a plus.

*Personality Traits:*
- **Motivated:** A strong desire to achieve personal and team goals, with the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- **Independent:** Comfortable working remotely with minimal guidance while being proactive in completing tasks and seeking assistance when necessary.

*Soft Skills:*
- **Presentation Skills:** Ability to clearly convey information and instructions to customers, ensuring they understand products and services offered.
- **Persuasion Skills:** Capable of influencing customer decisions and encouraging them to try new products or services through positive communication and recommendations.
