### Job Description

Emerson Electric is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Remote Social Media Manager to join our innovative and fast-paced team. As a vital part of our digital marketing strategy, you will be responsible for creating and executing social media initiatives that reflect our brand's mission and values. This part-time position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work remotely, contributing significantly to the growth and engagement of our online community.

### Key Responsibilities

- **Content Strategy Development:** Design and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Emerson Electric's marketing goals and enhances our online presence across all relevant platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).

- **Content Creation and Management:** Generate compelling, original content, including text, images, and videos, that resonates with our target audience. Oversee a content calendar to ensure timely and relevant posts.

- **Community Engagement:** Actively manage and engage with our social media communities by responding to comments, direct messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner, fostering a sense of community and brand loyalty.

- **Performance Analysis:** Monitor, analyze, and report on key social media metrics, using insights to improve content strategies and campaign effectiveness. This includes utilizing tools like Google Analytics and social media analytics dashboards.

- **Collaboration:** Work closely with cross-functional teams—including marketing, sales, and product development—to ensure brand consistency and effective messaging across all platforms.

- **Trend Monitoring:** Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for engagement. Adapt strategies as needed to leverage emerging platforms or shifts in audience preferences.

- **Campaign Coordination:** Collaborate on marketing campaigns and initiatives, developing promotional strategies that leverage social media platforms while ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives.

### Required Qualifications

- **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in social media management or related fields. Proven expertise in managing multiple social media platforms and delivering measurable results.

- **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.

- **Skills and Competencies:**
- Proficient in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
- Strong understanding of social media trends, best practices, and algorithms.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills that convey professionalism and brand voice.
