We are looking for a Reservations Agent to join our dynamic team! As a Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting guests in booking their stay with us. The ideal candidate is energetic, passionate about hospitality, and possesses exceptional communication and organizational skills. You must have a positive attitude, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. • CUSTOMER SERVICE: Meet service quality standards that affect guest satisfaction; respond to guest questions or problems in a timely, professional manner.
• WORK HABITS: Meet the hotel standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, attendance, and punctuality; report to work and return from breaks on time; give advance notice when absence is anticipated; require typical amount of supervision; accept work assignments without complaints.
• PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT: Accept opportunities to learn new skills, improve performance or cross-train for other hotel positions; solve routine problems that occur on the job; ask questions when not sure how to complete something; learn new skills as quickly as most others in the same job.
• SAFETY AND SECURITY: Be alert to hazards and responsible in carrying out hotel's safety, security, and emergency procedures; suggest ways to improve safety conditions that reduce or prevent accidents and injuries; participate on safety committee or other special projects for safety; actively seek and report potential security risks or hazardous conditions.
• RESERVATIONS: Follow the hotel's recommended reservation protocol; understanding computerbased reservations systems is sufficient to perform the primary responsibilities of the job; answer guest questions about the hotel's services and amenities; understands yield management and rate structure.
• RESERVATIONS LEAD: Maintain high morale for reservations; assist supervisor in teaching reservations staff how to operate computerized reservations and hotel management system; solicit suggestions or input from other members of reservations team; coach and encourage team members effectively; partner with team members to consistently achieve standards for the department; discuss problems with employees as they come up; understand Reservations Supervisor the hotel's human resources policies and procedures; treat all employees fairly; support supervisor's decsisions regarding appropriate staffing levels for work demand; promote hotel service standards and policies.
