TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVOR RN in Atlanta, Georgia, 30309 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Job Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Day, 3x12-Hour (06:30 - 19:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years; unit accepts first-time travelers License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS Must-Have: Experience in Cardiac, Vascular, Thoracic procedures; Heart Transplant experience is highly preferred Job Description: - Candidates will be pre-screened by clinical staff to determine fit; successful candidates will proceed to a managerial interview for final decision. - Suitable for adult to geriatric patient populations in the CVOR. - Familiarity with systems such as Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR is required. - Scheduling: Restrictions include a maximum of 7 days of requested time off. No block or self-scheduling available. - Expect rotational weekend shifts and variable on-call duties, typically one weekday call per week and one weekend call every 5-6 weeks. - Holiday work expectations: Work one major holiday if applicable during assignment, two if two holidays fall, or two of three if three holidays fall. - Required to float to Main OR if needed. - Scrubs will be provided. - Full compliance is mandatory before starting; any delays may push back the start by two weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedules. Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time.
