TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73104 About The Position Job Title: RN Surgical ICU Job Specialty: FS Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 3x12 Hr Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Current RN License from the State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS issued by the American Heart Association Must-Have: CRRT experience required Job Description: - Provide nursing care in a hospital setting to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. - Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients. - Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments; note all changes in physician orders for assigned patients. - Assist physicians in the examination of patients and performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatments. - Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients, observing physiological manifestations and intervening when necessary. - Administer medication as prescribed. Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products. - Deliver patient care competently, interacting with family and patients to share the care plan during hospital stay and discharge. - Inform patient and family of hospital procedures. - Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel. - Delegate tasks to support staff. - Perform other duties as assigned.
