TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Baltimore, Maryland, 21229 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM, Every other weekend as needed, Holidays required as needed: Halloween, Thanksgiving Guaranteed Hours: 36-hour work week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications: Competency in cervical exams, fetal monitoring Must-Have: High-risk OB experience, scrub experience preferred, postpartum couplet care preferred Job Description: - Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. - Implement and monitor patient care plans. - Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate. - Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. - Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. - Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. - Work in a 12-bed Labor and Delivery unit with 2 OR suites, 2 triage beds, and PACU. - Participate in continuous professional development. 26068769EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Healthcare facilities may follow different nursing models and practices.
