TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Richmond, Virginia, 23235 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical-Surgical Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Guaranteed Hours: Information not provided Experience: Information not provided License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) Must-Have: - Willingness to work weekends as assigned - Ability to work with high admission/discharge turnover daily - No history of attendance concerns Job Description: - Work in a unit with 32 beds and a team of 45 staff, providing comprehensive care - Handle standard nursing equipment and specifically, BiPAP (Stable), mid/flow devices, Peritoneal Dialysis, Heparin infusions, and Phillips Cardiac Monitors - Utilize Meditech 6.0 for electronic medical records - Mainly manage cardio-pulmonary patients but remain flexible to receive any general medical patients - Monitor for cardiac needs without routine treatment of arrhythmias - Care for stable Covid-19 patients if required - Foster a positive, can-do attitude and work effectively within a team - Exhibit self-motivation and accountability - Wear navy scrubs and closed-toe and heel shoes - Adhere to unit policies and guidelines - Work every other weekend and major holidays with no on-call requirements - Collaborate in a supportive and positive work environment with visible and involved leadership - Engage in strong relationships with physicians and secure excellent support from patient care technicians and nurse externs across all shifts 26242549EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing A diverse portfolio of experiences adds depth to your professional profile.
