TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Montgomery, Alabama, 36116 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Surgery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10:30 AM, 12-hour Mids, 36 hours per week Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: At least 2 years (no travelers with exactly 1-year experience) License: Registered Nurse Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Strong experience in Trauma (no burns), Neuro, General, Vascular, ENT, Ortho spine, Ortho (must have total joint experience), Gyn, endovascular, urology, robotics for both General and Neuro, Plastics, breasts, eyes. - Ability to circulate only, with experience in the required case types. - Preferably robotics experience (Robotic Mazor/DaVinci XI). Job Description: - Conduct interviews with Manager and facility experts. - Act as General OR RN, backing up Ortho/Neuro/ENT. - Handle minimal pediatric cases, typically in Orthopedics. - Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio. - Utilize technology such as EMR: Cerner, IV pumps: Plum 360, medication dispensing: Omnicell, and monitors: Spacelabs. - Engage with unit support including OR assistants, desk assistants, charge nurse, and team leaders for service lines. - Complete a 2-week orientation on day shift with buddy call duties. - Participate in weekend rotation on call and adhere to a 30-minute response time. - Holiday work expected as per contract requirements. - Abide by the scrub color code of green. 26327699EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing A diverse portfolio of experiences adds depth to your professional profile.
