TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PICU RN in San Diego, California, 92123 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-Hour; Variable (Day/Night) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 full years of recent independent PICU experience License: California license required Certifications: BLS, PALS Must-Have: - Recent experience with ventilators, multiple monitors, specifically CVP and EKG - Willingness to float between units (CVPICU & NICU) - Flu vaccine compliance, no exemptions Job Description: - High acuity unit seeing cases such as injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi-system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post-op cardiac surgical care, and neurosurgery - Functions at the standard level of nursing practice for a PICU - Must be flexible to work both day and night shifts - Required to work 2 out of 3 major holidays - Willingness to float within hospital and, for NICU, float to satellite locations - Modules must be completed pre-start, though are not recorded as orientation hours 26316024EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Adapting to new facilities and teams challenges your problem-solving skills.
