Health and Safety Manager LHH is seeking a dedicated and proactive Health and Safety Manager to join a leading manufacturing organization! This is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented professional eager to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing health and safety programs to ensure a safe workplace for all employees. Primary Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety protocols, ensuring a culture of safety throughout the organization. Collaborate with management and teams to promote safe work practices and foster a proactive safety culture. Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing reports and implementing corrective measures to prevent future occurrences. Monitor and analyze health and safety performance metrics, reporting findings to senior management. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in health and safety regulations. Lead emergency response planning and drills to ensure preparedness for any incidents. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Certification (e.g., CSP, CIH) is a plus. 5+ years of experience in health and safety management, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Proven track record in developing and implementing successful safety programs and initiatives. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standards related to health and safety. Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to enhance workplace safety. Self-motivated with a strong commitment to achieving safety excellence and fostering a culture of accountability.
