Job Description Job Title: Sales Internship 
Location: This is an ongoing internship located in Stevens Point, WI 
Start Date: January 8, 2023 
Starting wage: $17.16

At Skyward we build software solutions for K-12 schools, so every day you are getting to help students, teachers, and school administrators succeed. You can't say that about every career! 
Skyward is currently seeking junior and senior-year college students who are interested in jumpstarting a career in sales. Interns will work closely with our sales team to discover the excitement and challenges of enterprise-level sales and to meet goals that are set as a team.
Selected candidates can work part-time during school for up to 20 hours per week. We will develop a work schedule that fits your school schedule. School comes first! Candidates may work up to 40 hours per week when classes are not in session.
What you will do:
Interact with customers and prospects to promote the Skyward solution.
Learn powerful sales techniques and concepts.
Work closely with our business development team to influence prospects to evaluate Skyward as their next K-12 software partner. 
Research contacts at school districts then formulate a plan to reach them through email, phone calls, social media, and tradeshows. 
Collect competitive intelligence to strengthen our understanding of the K-12 market. 
What it takes: 
Currently enrolled as a student at a 4-year or 2-year College pursuing a degree.
A strong interest in sales.
A strong work ethic and ability to work both in team and solo environments. 
Dependable with strong organizational skills.
