Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required. Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Norwalk, CT. This school-based role involves assessing and treating students with speech, language, and communication disorders, helping them succeed in both academic and social settings. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on each students specific needs and goals. Provide direct speech and language therapy services in individual and group settings. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' progress and implement therapy goals in the classroom. Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions, evaluations, and student progress. Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for classroom accommodations. Provide support and strategies to teachers and families to enhance students' communication skills. Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Valid Connecticut SLP license. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. Previous experience in a school-based setting is a plus. Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
