Director of School Nutrition

The Gorham School Department invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Director of School Nutrition in a district that serves 2800 students and 5 schools.

Major responsibilities include financial management, supervision and leadership of staff, Free and Reduced Applications and Verification Process, and working knowledge
of the entire operation of the program including food preparation, sanitation, safety procurement and marketing. The successful candidate will have: Strong leadership skills
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of Menu Development, National School Lunch Program, HACCP, Formal Bidding, and Wellness Programs.
Degree or equivalent in Food Service, Nutrition or Business Management and possesses a Servsafe Certification or ability to become certified.
Experience as School Nutrition Director preferred
