Position: Scientist I - Chemistry

Duration: 12 Months (This role is Temp to perm based on business needs at the time)

Key Responsibilities: Synthesize polymer particles using established chemistries Participate in process optimization, development, and scale-ups for routine production Perform analytical characterization of polymeric particles using specialty equipment and instrumentation (including ion-chromatography, particle sizing, and surface area instruments) Analyze data, derive conclusions, document findings, write SOPs, and prepare reports Present written and oral reports, and collaborate with multidisciplinary groups in R&D and manufacturing divisions Producing many of the resins that are key to the success of the Ion Chromatography portfolio Follow all EH&S safety requirements, participate in safety improvement activities, and carry out ISO9001 guidelines and corporate quality policy Required Skills Hands-on experience in the Chemistry laboratory & wet chemistry Ability to summarize and present experimental results and have excellent verbal and written communication skills Must obtain a bachelor's degree in a science-related field Able to lift weights up to 40 lbs and meet all physical demands of working in a chemical laboratory TekWissen Group is an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity.
