Heres what youd do:
This position is responsible for removing snow on assigned residential or commercial sites on an as needed basis.
Primary function of a snow laborer is to remove snow using a shovel, snow blower on walkways, plows, equipment etc.
This position may also assist snow removal teams with their snow removal responsibilities.
The position may also be required to spread salt or sand on an as needed basis.
Position Descriptions / Requirements: Snow Shoveler / Hand Labor-
+ + Primary function is to remove snow using a shovel or snow blower on walkways, thoroughfares, etc.
+ This position may also assist snow removal teams (Drivers) with their snow removal responsibilities.
+ The position may also be required to spread salt or sand on an as needed basis.
+ Removing snow using a shovel or snow blower for several hours at a time, depending on the amount of snowfall
Snow Truck Driver -
+ 3 years of commercial experience using a plow truck or salt truck
+ 3+ years of commercial snow experience using Skid-Steer, Front End Loader, Backhoe, or equivalent vehicles with plows and snow containment boxes
+ Must have a valid and clean driver's license with no restrictions (CDL is NOT required)
+ You must attend and pass training, Drug Test, and possible background check.
Equipment Operator -
+ Removing snow using a snow plow and heavy equipment for several hours at a time, depending on the amount of snowfall
+ Removing snow in appropriate locations, avoiding piling it on trees, shrubs, fire hydrants or sidewalks
+ Must have a valid and clean driver's license with no restrictions (CDL is NOT required)
+ You must attend and pass training, Drug Test, and possible background check.
And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must demonstrate and perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The ability to effectively communicate and interact, in a positive manner, with all Company personnel and external customers is also required.

+ Reliable transportation to and from any work site
+ Physically able to work outside, sometimes in extreme weather conditions
+ Ability to shovel snow, Drive, or operate equipment sometimes for several hours at a time
+ Ability to communicate effectively
+ Willing to dress appropriately for all weather conditions
+ Experience working efficiently in a production-driven/fast paced environment
