Responsibilities:
The Chief of Pulmonary Medicine will direct the clinical and operational activities of the department to include but not limited to clinical coverage, physician staffing, nurse practitioners, RNs. The ideal candidate will bring a proven background in department leadership, program development, strategic planning, change management, and clinical leadership to the department. The Chief will work to revise and advance the Pulmonary department to serve the patients and the community we serve.

Oversee the daily clinical operations of medical staff

Be an active physician within the practice
Develop practice oriented education
Mentor/Train clinical staff
Active role in Quality Improvement
Recruitment of clinical staff - physicians & nurse practitioners to grow department
Manage expectations, duties and activity of physicians and nurse practitioners
Qualifications:
MD or DO
Unrestricted PA medical license
Graduate from an ACGME Pediatric Residency
Board Certified - Pediatrics
Graduate from an ACGME Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship
5+ years clinical experience in a pediatric o/p practice
3 years' experience in practice leadership & change management
