As an Operating Group Security Manager at BlueHalo, you will support the Department of Defense's navigation warfare (NAVWAR) mission, ensuring superiority in positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT).
You will act as the Industrial Security subject matter expert, collaborating with combatant commanders and providing essential security guidance to the Program Manager in contract execution.
Key Responsibilities: Process administrative tasks for contractor personnel access to the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
Develop and submit security accreditation packages for contractor facilities and equipment.
Participate in contractor security assessments and evaluations.
Monitor and track contractor security clearance processing activities, ensuring compliance with government protocols.
Advise contractors on document profiling, markings, dissemination, and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) procedures.
Qualifications: Current TS/SCI Security Clearance. Extensive knowledge of DoD and Military security regulations, policies, and procedures.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience with the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications: Certification as a Facility Manager or equivalent.
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while effectively collaborating in a team environment.
