Job Description - Non-Exempt Position Title: NightSecurity Officer
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Purpose The Security Officer maintains the security and safety of all team members and guests.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities listed may not apply to all locationsMaintains security of all areas of the propertyIs familiar with all team membersIs familiar with all alarm systemsMaintains and knows emergency procedures and all responding agenciesCompletes and files all necessary reportsMaintains log, keeping it up-to-date and accurateResponds to all emergencies and reports to the General ManagerReports any maintenance issues to General ManagerMaintains knowledge of check-in/out proceduresMaintains professionalism at all timesApproaches all situations with care and requests backup if the situation is questionableAll other duties as requestedGeneral Statement - Performs the job assigned, complying with Company policies and procedures, business code of ethics, FLSA regulations, and all applicable laws, as well as ensuring confidentiality, reliability, quality, and productivity.
Job Requirements Education, Essential Training / Certifications, and Experience:
High School diploma/ GEDMust be at least 21 years of ageHave and maintain a good driving record clear of significant violationsSkills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Presents a calm and professional demeanor at all timesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detailDemonstrates alertness and attentivenessStrong ethical and moral valuesFlexible schedule; weekends and holidays are requiredShift: Additional hours may be required
