Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to the following:
Seed Operations
* Takes in bulk soybean seed from suppliers.
* Operate equipment including legs, conveyors, and scale.
* Maintains open communication with the Location Manager and Agronomy Department to coordinate operations.
* Loads seed into wagons, trucks, and other approved storage.
* Treats soybean seed.
* Manage product inventory, invoicing as well as transfers.
* Continually upgrades knowledge of seed products and services.
* Works to increase market share.
Chemical and Fertilizer Operations
* Maintains a safe work environment as outlined by NEW Cooperative's policies and procedures.
* Assists in loading and unloading of products from vehicles based on work orders.
* Maintains inventory of products.
* Operates fertilizer tender trucks.
* Fills and transports NH3 equipment.
* Operates commercial application equipment as needed.
* Assists in setup & maintenance of equipment.
* Performs standard routine maintenance and repairs to equipment throughout all areas of the location.
* Operates forklift/loader to move seed, chemical, fertilizer, etc.
* Utilizes the automated Kahler system when processing bulk agronomy products.
* Manages the operation of the liquid fertilizer plant.
* Is responsible for the loading and unloading of vehicles based on work orders.
* Manages the inventory of packaged products, mini bulks, and bulk tank products.
* Maintains clear and open communication with agronomy team members and sales department to efficiently provide liquid fertilizers.
Maintenance
* Ensures that work area, equipment, and vehicles are all neat, clean, and well maintained.
* Maintains cleanliness of equipment to promote a positive company image.
* Performs or schedules repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
Other
* Uses all tools, equipment, and vehicles carefully and for their intended use.
* Assists in other areas of the location as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:
* Must have a Commercial Handler's or Applicator's License.
* Must have a valid driver's license.
* Understand the importance of providing very high levels of customer service.
* Understand the seasonality of the farm supply business and the in-season time commitment.
