Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is a key player in managing the financial operations of our rapidly expanding company. This role encompasses a wide range of accounting tasks, financial reporting, and analysis. We are in search of a candidate with 3-5 years of relevant experience, possessing an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and a strong drive to make a difference.
Responsibilities: Execute monthly close activities, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate financial records. Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting principles. Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes. Compile periodic financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements) for management review. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Compare actual financial performance against budgeted figures and provide insightful analysis. Collaborate with project managers to monitor project costs, revenue, and profitability. Assist in project cost allocations and ensure precise accounting. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, GAAP, and industry standards. Assist with audit processes and provide necessary documentation. Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements. Streamline accounting procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
