Position Summary
The Senior Solution Architect will join the Pipeline Product Line within the Midstream IT organization. As the Pipeline Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic direction and delivery of innovative IT and OT solutions driving the evolution and reimagining of digital capabilities for Pipeline and adjacent Midstream business segments. The Pipeline Solution Architect position requires a deep understanding and expertise in our Pipeline business and associated technology capabilities. It is crucial to align proposed solutions with the enterprise architecture direction and standards, ensuring coherence and compatibility. As an Architect, you will play a pivotal role in developing specifications for and contributing to the selection of new product/service offerings, while rigorously assessing their compatibility and reliability within existing architectures to guarantee composability and resilience. Your responsibilities will also include performing architecture planning, including strategy development and roadmap creation while providing essential project support. Collaborating closely with Agile coaches and Scrum Masters, you will address complex issues, risks, and dependencies to facilitate smooth solution delivery. Furthermore, as a thought leader, you will collaborate with key leadership to identify opportunities for optimizing the flow of value delivery across the organization.y

Key Responsibilities
Supports architectural governance and compliance, and contributes to defining principles, guidelines, and standards. Participates and contributes to solution architecture reviews and ensures architecture adherence. Collaborates with stakeholders in MPL, G&P as well as other Midstream IT Product Lines and Business segments to ensure solution alignment with business objectives Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and platforms in both the IT and OT technology domains. Takes a more active role in analyzing technology trends and impacts and contributes to vendor assessments. Leads the design and development of end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements and achieve intended outcomes. Analyzes and translates business and technical requirements into solution designs. Leads the translation of business and technical requirements into architectural blueprints, collaborating with product owners and managers. Defines system integration approaches and ensures interoperability of components. Provides guidance and support to development teams during solution implementation. Manages the architecture for a broader scope of projects and develops roadmaps for portfolio evolution. Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years of relevant architecture experience required. Scaled Agile Architecture certification preferred. Experience with both IT and OT technology domains preferred Knowledge of Pipeline business capabilities preferred Skills
Technical Expertise - A strong understanding of various technologies, platforms, and systems relevant to the organization's architecture, such as networking, databases, cloud computing, and security. Systems Thinking - The ability to analyze complex systems and understand their interdependencies, considering both technical and business aspects, to develop comprehensive and scalable architectures. Problem-Solving and Analytical Thinking - Strong problem-solving skills to identify architectural challenges, analyze requirements, evaluate options, and propose effective solutions. Business Acumen for Architecture - Understanding of business processes, strategies, and goals to align architectural decisions with organizational objectives. Cloud Computing - Knowing how to manage cloud services, develop cloud applications, and use cloud architecture to meet customer needs. Data Analytics and Big Data - Knowledge of data analytics frameworks and technologies, such as data lakes, data warehouses, and machine learning, to design architectures that effectively handle large volumes of data and enable advanced analytics. Internet of Things (IoT) - Familiarity with IoT concepts and protocols, as well as experience designing architectures that incorporate IoT devices and enable seamless connectivity and data exchange. DevOps and Agile Methodologies - Knowledge of DevOps practices, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), and agile development methodologies to facilitate efficient and collaborative software development and deployment. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) - Understanding of AI/ML concepts, algorithms, and platforms to design architectures that support intelligent systems and enable AI-driven applications. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of relevant architecture experience
