Job Description:
Insight Global's client is a busy and quickly growing boutique civil litigation practice focusing on helping employees in the workplace. They have a team-oriented environment and are looking for an Associate Attorney and Senior Attorney. Each Attorney at the firm has 2 Paralegals and 1 Legal Assistant supporting them. The right candidates can handle a busy workload with multiple cases at once and want to grow within the firm. The firm is organized in a structured manner that allows ideas, tactics, and developments to be shared and exchanged. These Attorneys will be advocating for clients' rights and interests.
Duties: Negotiate on behalf of clients in legal proceedings.Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.Provide legal advice to clients on a wide range of legal matters.Represent clients in court proceedings (trial attorneys will go to court - these attorneys likely won't).Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting clients' interests.

Minimum Requirements: Education: CA Bar License.Experience: minimum of 8 years of employment and/or class action litigation (examples: PAGA, sexual harassment, wage disputes, race discrimination, severance negotiation, family/medical leave).Experience managing Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or related personnel highly preferred.Strong legal drafting and research skills.Ability to interpret and apply complex legal concepts.Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
