POSITION PURPOSE The Senior Business Analyst is responsible providing analysis and understanding the business needs of a division in our organization. Responsible for fully understanding of the business area to align their processes and practices. Work with business unit to participate in requirements gathering to ensure they can resolve their technical issues. This position is responsible analyzing and evaluating user needs to create system solutions to support the overall business strategy. This role is responsible for simulating and testing process improvements for the division. Responsible for participating and assisting with departmental projects.

QUALIFICATIONS Education Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, or related field required Four years of related experience can be used in lieu of a Bachelor's degree. Work Experience 4 years of experience in business analyst and/or business system analyst required Skills and Abilities Must strong knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts. Must demonstrate PC skills including Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and related software as other corporate software programs and applications. Must demonstrate verbal and communication skills with the ability to interpret and communicate information with tact, diplomacy, patience and professionalism. Able to cohesively work in a team environment to ensure efficient and effective completion of all tasks assigned groups. Licenses and Certifications None Required ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provide expertise in a focused area of the organization through analysis and understanding of business needs. Apply strong knowledge of the business area's processes and practices. Provide business knowledge and support for resolving technical issues in their focused areas of the business. Use appropriate tools and techniques to elicit and define requirements that address relatively complex business processes or projects of moderate/high complexity. Analyze requirements and create or contribute to functional designs, leveraging strong technical skills. Assist with project initiation or planning for projects of moderate/high complexity. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates user needs to create system solutions and support overall business strategies Simulates and tests process improvements.
