The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic management and investigation of a high volume of global trade matters, ensuring compliance with complex and evolving regulatory requirements.
This role involves leading a team of attorneys and investigators, acting as a liaison with the company's global trade teams, and owning the legal responsibility for drafting and reviewing all global trade disclosures.
The Director & Senior Counsel will also be a key member of the Compliance Executive Leadership Team, regularly communicating on global trade and compliance issues.
Applicants must have a Juris Doctor degree, at least 12 years of legal experience, and a minimum of 5 years in global trade.
The role requires a strong leader with excellent judgment, the ability to collaborate effectively, and a proven track record of managing multiple deadlines.
The ideal candidate will have a history of providing global trade business support and must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Responsibilities include managing a team, supporting non-attorney investigators, and ensuring full compliance with all relevant policies.
The position demands a proactive individual who can identify root causes and implement robust corrective actions for potential compliance issues.
