Senior Data Scientist

Shipt, Inc. seeks a full-time Senior Data Scientist II. This role provides solutions and contributions that are leveraged broadly across teams in the company and will drive the team's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and establish stakeholder relationship to drive its execution. Requires a Master's degree or equivalent in Information Management, Industrial/Operations Research, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative STEM field and 3 years of experience in proffered position or similar position developing quantitative models or algorithms (e.g., Data Scientist, Statistical Consultant, Mathematical Statistician, Research Associate). Work experience must also include at least 2 years of experience with the following: (1) SQL; (2) A Business Intelligence tool (e.g., Tableau); (3) a statistical scripting language (e.g., R, Python); (4) building compelling presentations from data that summarize complicated data and insights; (5) AWS, version control, and peer code review systems; (6) grocery-retail or e-commerce; and (7) R and Python. This position is fully remote and may telecommute from any location in the U.S. Limited travel to company's offices for work reasons may be needed.
