Senior Database Administrator

Job Description Title: Senior Database AdministratorEducation Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience: 5-8 yearsWork Location: Massachusetts - Norflok Work Mode: Hybrid

Requirements:
•Maintain, monitor, optimize, secure and document Databases (on-prem and cloud based)
•Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures
•Optimizes queries, views, and triggers for integration with other applications
•Review and interpret ongoing business requirements
•Develop stored procedures and scripts for data migration.

•Design and develop integrations among applications
•Writes instructions for testing and implementing new applications in the database environment
•Analyze current and future database projects for performance requirements, fine-tuning, and recommended enhancements when necessary.
This includes but is not limited to upgrades and database maintenance
•Collaborate with the developers in designing, developing, and adding features to programs
•Troubleshoot production issues according to service level targets
•Provide great customer service
•Use standard application development best practices
•Maintain knowledge of database technology through training courses, seminars, and publications
•Design always on architecture for all Database systems
•Owns high availability of critical databases and backup
•Resolves DB problems when they arise
