A Senior Director of Sales is needed on the East Coast, ideally near a major airport. This person will use their sales leadership skills to develop and execute sales strategies. They will mentor and coach sales managers to surpass sales quota goals, while maintaining a keen awareness of market dynamics and competitor activity. The ideal candidate will be highly results-oriented, hands-on, strategic, and demonstrate a proven track record of success in sales leadership.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in the Life Science, i.e., Biology, etc.10+ years of Sales Leadership experience within the Life Science marketplaces, i.e., strategic sales planning, coaching, mentoring, forecasting, lead funnel management, hiring, activity reporting, compensation structure development, etc.Strong understanding of the Genomics industry across the North American Life Science marketExperience selling into scientific research (academic, biotech, pharma), biopharmaceutical QA/QC, food and beverage manufacturing, testing, environmental testing, or oil and gasMust be hands-on, driven, and strategic in natureExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenExperience within a Matrix environment is a plusMust be okay with overnight travelBased on the East Coast, ideally near Boston, MAOur client is a worldwide leading provider of Life Science products to the research marketplace. Total Estimated Compensation (estimation based on LST market data): $280,000 - $330,000 plus expenses and benefits
